Maria shuffled her feet a bit standing in the training area. It had been quite some time since she had any battle contact. Her body shook with a bit of anticipation and fear. "Okay..." she sighed gripping onto her staff, "I'm ready..."

Drake heads into the training grounds with her, nodding. "Alright. Let's get started!" he says, looking around and spotting a Gobon. He points. "There. That one should be easy. Go ahead and fight him." he suggests. The gobon looks over and giggles, starting towards them. "Here it comes! Get ready!"

((BATTLE TUTORIAL!))
Usually, you'll be playing both the monster and your character, though in this case, I'll be the monster. Depending on your performance in battle, I'll assign exp in my mind, and level you accordingly. Since you're level 1 you can't do anything super awesome, like full healing of wounds or decapitation. Fight fairly. That goes for EVERYONE!

Dorcha steps into the training ground, pulled by the hand, by his vampiric friend. Looks around and sees 'Reaver' and his preistess.

" Ahhh... This really is the place to be. haha."

Stares at Dooley intently, thinking wondering. Then the snarl of a nearby wolf cub takes him out of his trance.

"So.. You ready?"

Dooley hissed when he heard the snarl and crouched, his dirk appearing in his hand quicker then lightning. The wolf cub lept out of the bushes. The vampire smiled and laughed.

"Yes, I am."

" Good, lets get started then. "

Leaning forward both keris ready in hand, yellow eyes fixed on the wolf. Adrenaline pumping through his veins.

" I haven't fought in a long time...."

The wolfcub lunged, teeth snapping at Dorcha. Dooley hissed and jabbed it in the side with his dirk,trying to distract it.

"I fight almost every day. Welcome to the underworld."

The wolf becomes distracted by Dooley, giving Dorcha the chance to slashe at one of its legs with success. The tip of the left keris shined with blood. Dorcha eyed it curiously.

" The Underworld? Sounds interesting,"

feeling the tip of his blade with his tongue,

"lets hope I'm ready for it."

Drake steps back as the Gobon approaches, nodding to Maria. "Okay, let's see how well you can handle this." he says, observing.

The Gobon snarls and gnashes its teeth threateningly.

Maria nodded and looked at the creature. Holding her hand out, she chanted silently and tried casting a blessing. A small divine light sparked from her finger and flew towards the Gobon.

Dooley swore and jammed his arm into the beasts mouth to keep it form getting his throat torn out. With a growl he stabbed it in the side, falling backward.

"I always hated wolves!"

Jumping forward with a smirk on his face. Taking one keris and hurling it at the wolf cub. Missing by inches.

"Darn!! Haha, not a pet person? I think he's cute, after we kill it. haha"

Gleefully dogding the wolf's attempts to snap at his legs and with a amused smirk on his face.

This particular Gobon was rather stupid, as it where, and yells gibberish as it rushes her, not noticing the light until it blasts a hole in his shirt, burning his chest. "GAH!" it spits, falling back before getting up. "Okay, finish it! LEt's see you use that axe!" says Drake with a broad grin.

Her leg stepped out firmly to the side and her hand hung beside it. She gripped the small, almost hatchet from under her robe and walked quickly to the monster before slinging it down full force. Her tiny arm flexed with what muscles she did have.

The attack cleaves the goblin in half, causing a short, shocked yell before it turns into a small white ball, drifting into Maria's body. drake claps. "Fantastic!"

(Maria, level up your stats!)

(First monster kill will level everyone up, after that it's random.)

"Yay," she smiled gingerly. "Hopefully one day people will actually pay me for exercising items," she joked to him.

Dooley sighed and kicked the thing off him, and then jumped on it, multiple times, missing a few times.

"No. Wolves and my kind hate each other." He threw a knife down at it's head. "It dead yet?"

Walking over with an dissapointed smile. Kicks the cub and picks up keris, smoothly sliding them both back in their leather sheathes on his legs.

" Oh, dead already? Well that certainly was interesting. Especially with you."

((Dorcha, Dooley have leveled!))

Dooley smirked and patted Dorcha on the back.

"Jumping on it's head will do that. Ready to scram? Or do you want to go deeper?"

Slightly blushing at the quick embrace, the smell of Dooley blinding his senses for a second. Shaking his head to clear himself.

"Um.. Deeper?, how safe is it, to do that?

The vampire blinked and chewed on his bottom lip, fiddling with the bottom of his braid.

"Not sure, we could mess around around here, look for another doggie to crunch."

Drake chuckles. "Well, darling... would you like to stay for a little while more, or head back to town?" he asks. Suddenly, he hears an aggressive grunt from behind him, turning, he sees a Grizzo Bear and growls. "Oh, one of these clowns. I'll handle this, Maria!"

"Town sounds lovely dear," she replied. Maria looked over at the two and looked away. She hitched her axe back up to her leg, then carried her things walk with Drake. In all actuality, she had hoped to see another one of the small creatures so she could work a little more. Quickly getting her wish, the Gobon scurried up to her, apparently in hopes of latching onto her. "Drake... I think I have my own problem to work on..." she announced. She shooed it to a reasonable distance with her foot and then began attempting the spell from before. The creature managed to evade it and come closer to her. With almost no time to think properly, she grabbed her axe once more and swung at it when it was inches from her legs. It let out an awful squeal, but she pulled her axe out and slammed it down again, hoping she killed it. A low groan seeped from his mouth and he fell to the ground. And just as before, the white ball infused with her body. "I'm really gonna have to get used to this..." she sighed.

Drake's foe was dead in mere seconds. He sheathes his blade and takes Maria's hand, leading her into town. "It's late. Hopefully, more will occur tomorrow."
